We know that education is changing. More classes are happening online, classrooms are flipped, project based learning is key. But more or less, students still attend school from roughly age 5 until they’re about 18, and then head off to college. Right?

Perhaps the first step in understanding how education is changing is to really look at what we understand about how students have been and are currently learning, and more importantly, who these students are. Sometimes, our preconceived notions of what is ‘normal’ or ‘mainstream’ can throw off our ideas
